Detroit Diesel Valve Asm, for Air Box Breather

Although not directly part of this blower, this part is crucial to the air intake system in 8V71 engines. 

If this valve is damaged, the pressure in the crank case can increase, without a way to reduce pressure through this bypass valve assembly.  This could lead to oil leaking into the gaskets.
